    These are very old calipers that work well. There is surface wear on the these, and could be improved with some more cleaning and or spraying. The caliper opens and holds well and are adjustable in tension. I recently found these with some other old tools here in CA and were impressed with the size and how well they are made. These are old and pretty dam cool with adjusters that hold well when being used. I have seen a few sets that have to much movement and don't preform well, this is not one of those.. Also the tips meet correctly. This is a very cool old tool used for bigger works... great for the lathe and other larger projects. Thank you for looking.
