1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL SL

Description

For sale, a beautiful  1985 Mercedes 380 SL in Diamond Blue Metallic, with dark blue leather interior and burled walnut wood trim. I would describe the overall condition as a 'driver' and would make a great restoration project.   This roadster has 137,494 miles but *the odometer stopped working last year.  It has been used less than 3,000 miles since then. Fully serviced.  The ac was converted to modern refrigerant, and works, but it does leak on your shoes. Comes with a hardtop in good condition. The canvas roof is serviceable, but has some seam separation (see picture).  The rear window is clear.   The front fenders shows a small amount of rusting as seen in the pictures, and there is some rusting at the front of the door panels (see pictures).  The car is located in NY on LI and inspections are welcome, but must be done before end of auction. The car is sold as is, where it is.
